We are now known as ‘The Ark’ Salisbury Lutheran Kindergarten, which unites us so nicely with The Ark, Salisbury Lutheran Church.

Our logo was designed with the intention of having a harmonious link to the church’s own branding, however it needed to reflect the children. I am sure when we all think of the Ark and the story of Noah, the rainbow and the hope and reminder of God’s promise it signifies, comes to mind immediately. This element of the story is also something that the children really engage with along with the fact that they are naturally fascinated and in awe of rainbows. We love how the rainbow sits inside of the hexagon shape that is synonymous with the Ark Church.

Our tag line ‘love, play, learn’ is also an important element of our new branding. This tag line immediately tells others, what we are about at The Ark Salisbury Lutheran Kindergarten. We love the children as God so loves us. All children (and their families) are seen, heard and valued for who they are. Play is an essential vehicle for each child’s learning and development. We respect the children's right to play , allowing them time and space to be curious and explore the world around them. We see each child as a competent and capable learner. We value their thinking and make this visible to the child and their families.
